Nick Campbell, a former equity partner at a Southern California construction and business law firm, opened Builders Law Group in April 2010.

In construction issues, Nick represents builders, developers, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers in disputes including private works, public projects, federal Miller Act claims, construction delay claims, claim valuation, contract review and drafting, mechanics' lien foreclosures and stop notice enforcement, as well as licensing issues.

Nick also represents clients involving real estate and homeowner association issues. He has successfully handled claims for and against sellers, buyers and real estate agents in issues surrounding real estate purchase transactions. He has also represented many homeowner associations throughout Southern California as well as homeowners in claims against their homeowners association.

He has extensive litigation experience in cases ranging in scope from single homes and commercial real estate to public projects and large tract homes.

In addition, Nick has formed numerous corporate entities, handled a variety of complex and simple business transactions - everything from contract review and drafting to corporate buyouts.

Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 1992 and earned his J.D. degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law in 1996, where he received honors in Trial Practice and was a member of the Law School's top-ranked Mock Trial Team.  Nick is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was voted a "Rising Star" among Southern California Super Lawyers as featured in Los Angeles Magazine for 2004 and 2005. Nick is a member of the national Association of Consumer Bankrupter Attorneys, the National California and Inland Valley Association of Realtors, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association.

He frequently lectures at seminars throughout California, providing information on construction collections and licensing issues. Nick is licensed to practice law in California and Arizona before all State courts, the Central and Southern Districts of the United States District Courts and the United States Supreme Court.
