Nick M. Campbell, Esq.

Principal attorney Nick Campbell has been practicing construction, real estate, and homeowner association law in California since 1996. Prior to forming Builders Law Group, Inc, he was a senior associate attorney in construction and homeowner association law firms and, from 2006 until 2010 a partner in a local construction law firm. In addition to being licensed to practice law in California and Arizona, Nick is also a California-licensed real estate broker. Nick is authorized to practice before all California and Arizona state courts, the Southern and Central Districts of the United States District Courts, and before the United States Supreme Court.

In construction matters, Nick represents owners, builders, developers, contractors, and material and equipment providers in private and public works projects. Such matters include construction defects, construction collections mechanics’ lien and stop notice remedies, Federal Miller Act claims, delay claims, claim valuation, contract review and drafting, contractor licensing matters, and employer-employee disputes.

Nick also represents clients in homeowner associations and real estate (buyer-seller) disputes and general counsel matters.

Nick has extensive litigation experience and his cases have involved as few as two parties to some involving several thousand. He has been counsel in complex litigation, class action, and Federal environmental matters.

Nick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 1992 and his J.D. degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law (USD) in 1996. At USD, he received honors in Trial Practice and was a member of its top-ranked Mock Trial team. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell (that company’s highest rating for lawyers) and was twice voted a “Rising Star” among Southern California lawyers, as featured in Los Angeles Magazine in 2004 and 2005 (the “Super Lawyers” edition). In addition to being licensed to practice law by the California and Arizona Bar Associations, Nick is, or has been, a member of the American, Los Angeles County, San Fernando and Beverly Hills bar associations. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the Inland Valley Association of Realtors.

Nick frequently lectures at seminars on construction and homeowner association law throughout Southern California. He is available for presentations before trade groups, bar associations, businesses and homeowner associations.
